Sandra’s practice is dedicated exclusively to the practice of family law, including marital dissolutions, legal separations, annulments, Marvin (palimony) actions, child custody disputes and the negotiation and preparation of cohabitation agreements, premarital agreements, postnuptial agreements and marital settlement agreements. Sandra has successfully handled complex, high net worth estates and high-profile clients, many of which have involved cross-over legal issues including business disputes with third parties, tax issues, offshore compliance issues, white collar criminal issues, a range of federal and state regulatory issues, and bankruptcy. She has assisted in preparation of innocent spouse submissions to the IRS and has appeared in bankruptcy court as special family law counsel to both debtor and non-debtor spouses.
Sandra is a passionate advocate for her clients and seeks out every opportunity to help them achieve their goals, whether by trial or settlement. Sandra has completed more than 82 hours of training in alternative dispute resolution, most recently by completing a six-day mediation training at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law School.
Prior to working in family law, Sandra practiced corporate and real estate law at a multinational law firm headquartered in Los Angeles. She has leveraged her experience in those areas to assist business owners and entrepreneurs in their own family law matters.
Sandra is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and has written for the Daily Journal and lectured on family law topics for the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Sandra has provided pro bono legal assistance to clients of the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law, a nonprofit group that is supported by other members of the firm.
She is fluent in Hebrew and Hungarian.
