Family law has always been a career pursuit of Melissa’s. Now, working at Jaffe Family Law Group, she can put her talents and passion for helping families to work.

Melissa is involved in all aspects of a client’s dissolution proceeding. She skillfully and thoughtfully counsel’s clients through the ins and outs of their family law matter with the understanding that clients are often going through a particularly difficult time in their lives. Melissa has represented clients through both settlement and litigation, appearing in court on behalf of clients when necessary. She has experience in matters related to property division, custody, visitation, support, domestic violence restraining orders, the drafting of complex prenuptial agreements, and various other family law related matters.

During law school, Melissa was a Judicial Extern to Judge Amy Pellman, currently the Presiding Judge in the Family Law Division. She also worked as a Law Clerk at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in Pasadena.

In the community, Melissa serves as a volunteer for the Los Angeles County Bar Association Domestic Violence Legal Services Project, and she has worked as a volunteer for the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law providing free legal services to low-income Los Angeles residents.

Melissa is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Italian American Lawyers Association.
