Matthew handles cases touching upon nearly all aspects of family law including, but not limited to property distribution, child custody, spousal support, child support, and prenuptial, postnuptial, and separation agreements, modification matters, and custodial relocation cases. He prides himself on taking a practical approach to each matter in which he is involved, litigating aggressively when necessary and negotiating fair and appropriate settlements when appropriate.
He began his legal career in New York City where he first clerked for two prominent judges assigned to matrimonial and family law case and thereafter entered private practice with a well-respected boutique Manhattan firm.
Prior to attending law school, Matthew worked for several years in politics, including national-level campaigns, all of which helped him hone strategic and tactical thinking, negotiation skills, attention to detail, and an ability to reach reasonable compromises.
Matthew is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and Los Angeles Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in California, New York, and the Southern District of New York.
